Counseling for Children

Our Systems approach means parents’ input and involvement is valued and utilized

We use dedicated playrooms

Play is their language

Play is the universal language. The play therapist, using specific play therapy theories and techniques, helps the child access, process and regulate emotions.

They don’t always have the words

Once the child is regulated, the play therapist helps the child communicate through problems and enhance social relationship.

Their brains are still developing

Play therapy helps the child build resilience and manage their behaviors to achieve optimal growth and development.

“Behavior is an expression of an unmet need."

-Karyn Purvis.

The therapy process starts with the caregivers.

Parents and other caregivers, you are your child’s greatest support and know the child best. Therefore, we always try to start the process with a parent session.

Our approach

Weekly sessions are important, especially at first. This gives the child an oportunity to get familiar with the room and the therapist.

All our therapists are trained in Play Therapy.
