“To love someone fiercely, to believe in something with your whole heart, to celebrate a fleeting moment in time, to fully engage in a life that doesn’t come with guarantees – these are risks that involve vulnerability and often pain. But I’m learning that recognizing and leaning into the discomfort of vulnerability teaches us how to live with joy, gratitude and grace."

More about me...

My early experiences of growing up a military kid—coupled with my passion for competitive sports and academia—taught me invaluable lessons about the importance of adaptability, resilience, and sacrifice. In my twenties, I continued to pursue academia and enjoyed relocating to different states as I admired this common need for connection and community among humanity. Because of my process of moving and navigating life transitions, my passion grew to help others in their own changes.

I work with teens, adults, couples, and families, and I welcome people from all backgrounds, religions, and perspectives. Over the years, I've helped individuals navigate life changes, stress, depression, and work-life balance as well as struggling couples. I have a special interest in helping couples through the transition to parenthood or new mothers with perinatal issues and other struggles of motherhood.

I hold my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Seminary, and I am a member of the Nashville Area Association of Christian Counselors. I also hold a BA in Biblical Counseling from The King’s University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #2284) and certified Prepare/ Enrich facilitator for premarital couples. I have completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship to help couples gain closeness and strengthen their relationship. My counseling is also informed by Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Polyvagal Theory.

Outside of the office, I love to spend time with my husband (married since 2014) and our two sons, making memories and creating adventures. I enjoy making different sourdough recipes, especially sourdough pizza, trail running, singing car karaoke, brewing different varieties of coffees, or exploring new places to see, eat, or hike in Tennessee.

Sometimes the only way out is to let someone in.
